Guided Cultural Hikes & Experiences
above Waipiʻo Valley in the lands of Mahiki and Lālākea
A half-day (4 hour) guided cultural hikes that goes to multiple scenic lookouts of historical Waipiʻo Valley, with the myths & legends to be shared so individuals come away with a sense of respect and reverence for the land, water, and culture of Hawaiʻi & Waipiʻo.

Snacks & lunch will be enjoyed at the lookout or waterways.

Included in the hike is snacks & lunch (vegan option available), water, mosquito repellant, and ponchos (if needed).

Participants should be prepared for semi-rugged terrain over grass, dirt/mud, and gravel, and to weather the elements of sun, light to moderate rain, etc. Heavy rains or other inclement weather conditions will be forecasted and planned for.

Staff are First Aid & CPR certified, and support vehicles available if needed for emergencies.

Hiking Restrictions & Requirements

All participants MUST be physically fit

NO Pregnancies allowed

NO back/ knee/ hip/ foot injuries

NO major surgeries within the past 6 months

NO respiratory problems. Example: heart problems, chronic asthma... (or other chronic illnesses)

Must be in good physical health
